At Yucera, we believe that technology can change dentistry—but care changes lives.

Ahead of May 20th, the Yucera team traveled to a rural primary school in Guizhou, China, to carry out a meaningful dental public welfare program focused on children’s oral health education and preventive care.

As a manufacturer dedicated to dental materials and digital CAD/CAM solutions, we understand that healthy smiles begin with prevention. Through this initiative, we hoped not only to bring professional dental care to children in underserved areas, but also to help them build lifelong oral hygiene habits.

Teaching Children the Importance of Oral Health

During the visit, Yucera volunteers organized an interactive oral health education class designed especially for children.

Through fun and easy-to-understand demonstrations, students learned:

• The importance of maintaining good oral hygiene
• How cavities and oral diseases develop
• Correct toothbrushing techniques for daily care
• Healthy habits that protect teeth as they grow

For many children, this was their first time receiving systematic dental health education. The classroom quickly filled with curiosity, smiles, and active participation.

We believe that education is one of the most powerful ways to protect future generations—because prevention always starts with awareness.

Professional Dental Check-Ups for Every Child

In addition to classroom education, our team conducted basic dental examinations to assess the oral hygiene condition of the children.

By observing tooth development, oral cleanliness, and common dental concerns, we were able to provide preliminary guidance and encourage early preventive awareness.

Many oral issues in childhood can be effectively prevented or minimized through timely intervention. Regular dental checks and healthy habits can make a meaningful difference in a child’s long-term oral development.

Adding a Protective Shield with Fluoride Treatment

One of the most heartwarming moments of the day was the fluoride application for children’s young teeth.

To help strengthen enamel and reduce the risk of tooth decay, fluoride varnish was carefully applied to children’s deciduous teeth—adding what we lovingly call a “protective armor” for their little smiles.

For growing children, preventive fluoride treatment can play an important role in supporting stronger, healthier teeth during early development.

Watching the children smile after treatment reminded us why this mission matters.
